Club Penguin Journey (CPJ) is a popular, free-to-play, fan-made recreation of the original Disney's Club Penguin. Built as an AS2-based HTML5 project, it allows players to experience the classic gameplay of the original title, including exploring the island, playing mini-games, adopting puffles, and decorating igloos. The project is operated on a non-profit basis with no ads or donations accepted, funded entirely by the developers to ensure a free experience for the community. It frequently hosts themed parties, mascot visits, and community events with exclusive collectible items. Despite a temporary shutdown in late 2024 over privacy concerns, the project successfully relaunched in October 2024 with restored player data and remains active.
