Clock Tower Advance

About this entry

Clock Tower Advance is an unofficial, fan-made homebrew port of the original 1995 Super Famicom survival horror game Clock Tower, created for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. Developed by 'Team C.U.T.S.' and released in September 2025 (coinciding with the original game's 30th anniversary), this project fills a gap left by original developer Human Entertainment's bankruptcy in 2000. The game is a faithful recreation of the point-and-click survival horror gameplay where players guide Jennifer Simpson to escape the Scissorman. It features both English and Japanese language options and is designed to run on real GBA hardware, emulators, and FPGA devices.

Clock Tower Advance is listed as a Console To Console Ports entry in CheckpointDB's preservation database.

It is grouped under Survival Horror, making it easier to compare with related preservation projects and enhanced classics.

This record is treated as its own version or project, separate from normal game database entries.

The requirements section highlights any file, ROM, or install dependency currently flagged in the database.
