Castlevania the Lecarde Chronicles

About this entry

Castlevania: The Lecarde Chronicles is a series of unofficial, fan-made Castlevania games developed by Mig Perez. The games follow Efrain Lecarde, a Knight of the Catholic Church and ancestor of the canon character Eric Lecarde, as he battles dark forces across Europe. The series is noted for using original graphics, settings, and characters rather than reusing assets from official Konami titles. The first game (2013) is set in Segovia and Austria, while the sequel (The Lecarde Chronicles 2) takes place in the French countryside. The games feature platforming, whip-based combat, and exploration mechanics similar to the 'Metroidvania' style, along with high-resolution sprites and town hubs with side quests.

Castlevania the Lecarde Chronicles is listed as a Fan Games & Homebrew entry in CheckpointDB's preservation database.

It is grouped under Platformer|Action, making it easier to compare with related preservation projects and enhanced classics.

This record is treated as its own version or project, separate from normal game database entries.
