Spotlight on Super Mario Bros. Wonder
A pure, joyous celebration of visual and mechanical creativity. Super Mario Bros. Wonder discards decades of safe 2D formulas in favor of unpredictable, warp-reality Wonder effects that turn every single level into a fresh, laughing surprise of pure play.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a joyous, highly imaginative 2D side-scrolling platformer that completely revitalizes the classic franchise with spectacular visual personality and unpredictable level design. Exploring the Flower Kingdom, the game's core innovation is the 'Wonder Flower'—a hidden item in every stage that, when touched, completely warps reality. The level shifts into a chaotic, highly creative sequence: pipes come alive and crawl like worms, the camera angle shifts to a top-down perspective, Mario turns into a giant spike ball, or the level tilts into a high-stakes musical parade. The game introduces three new power-ups: the Elephant Suit (allowing you to swat enemies with a trunk and spray water), the Bubble Flower (letting you shoot floating bubbles to trap foes or hop off as temporary ledges), and the Drill Mushroom. Traversal is further enhanced by a custom 'Badge' system, allowing players to equip one passive utility per level, such as a Parachute Cap to glide, a Wall-Climb Jump, or a Grappling Vine. Perfectly optimized for multiplayer co-op with local and asynchronous online shadows.
